Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? 1 Corinthians 3:16
The Introduction to Primary Health Care School (IPHC) calls those who seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus. IPHC is a University of the Nations course that equips you to demonstrate God’s love in practical ways through providing basic healthcare. It exists to help train and equip you to be a health care provider in communities within developing nations such as Togo. The IPHC consists of an intense 12 week lecture phase and 12 weeks of outreach. The focus is primarily preventive and curative health care.
IPHC requires a lot of dedication to study and learn new things so that you can be well equipped to offer your new skills and knowledge to those who so desperately need it. It calls for those whose heart beats for the nations, to bring hope through teaching different ethnic groups how to take care of their bodies in a healthy way. You will learn how to diagnose and treat different diseases and sicknesses such as Malaria which is one of the leading causes of death and illness in Togo. You will also be able to teach others how to prevent common illnesses and how to take better care of their bodies through proper nutrition. IPHC will equip you to shine your light where there is disease and hopeless, bring healing to the sick, to see diseases eradicated, and God’s will done on earth as it is in heaven.

Noépé is an ideal place to do this school because it’s our heart not only as a school but also as a campus to bring people life, hope and restoration within the medical field. On campus we have The House Of Light Medical Ministries clinic, where you will be able to join the clinic staff to learn in a more visual and physical way and where you can put your classroom teachings into practice.
At the health care clinic you will get to witness the conditions of people from the surrounding villages whereas the classroom lectures will teach you practical ways to demonstrate love to these people while they are in their most vulnerable state.
IPHC is a window for a broken world to see into the goodness of God’s heart. Whether He has called you to minister in Community Development, Urban Missions, Children’s Ministries or somewhere else, IPHC will help you better serve those around you.
Where West Africa cries out for justice and equality, where voices go unheard and sickness hover like an enemy - YOU will be able to come, listen and fight for the lives of others in a very needed way while being guided by God’s Spirit and the knowledge He provided for you throughout the school.
